Burna Boy and VDM to assist inmates in Kirikiri with fine payments

 


Grammy Award–winning singer Burna Boy and social media personality Otse Vincent, also known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), paid a visit to the Kirikiri Maximum Security Custodial Centre in Apapa, Lagos, over the weekend. The visit was confirmed by the Lagos State Command of the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS).

‎In a statement released by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, Osho Onimisi Joseph, it was explained that the purpose of their visit was to gather direct information about the legal and administrative steps required to secure the release of inmates who qualify for discharge through the payment of fines, in accordance with the law and correctional guidelines.
